Jan Otto
My name is Jan Otto. I’m a very recent appointed Business Development Manager at Inteto Networks in Cape Town. I deem myself fortunate to have been appointed in this position and to work with a really great team of people, both at Inteto as well as at Poynting.
I have had a quite diverse work background, spanning many different disciplines from Technical Support, Budgets and Finance as well as Sales- and General Management. I obtained in the 1980’s a 4-year qualification, a T4 National Higher Certificate (Light current) in Electrical Engineering (NHCT).
The RF bug bit me early in life and in 1978, while still at High School, I was one of the youngest candidates who passed the Radio Amateur Examination. I always had this affinity towards communication technology from high school.
My other passions are Audio Engineering, in which I have engineered many shows for live stage performers and performances. My more personal passions are good food, holidaying in scenic locations, and interacting with people, and watching Sci-fi Space movies which satisfies the explorer in me to explore new worlds and go where no one has gone before.
I am happily married for almost 36 years. The kids all left the house and are living their own lives, which gives me and Mrs more freedom to live our own lives.
I believe that this work opportunity presented itself to me for a reason and that I will make a constructive contribution to those I will work with and to the business in Inteto and Poynting.

Hi, I am Mario Durelle I’m the new store supervisor at Inteto Connect, based in Cape Town. With my background being in the WISP industry it is a refreshing challenge to work in the RF sector of this industry which operates at a different frequency. I have a passion for Operations and processing flow. I have developed a keen eye for seeing and foreseeing the vision of an organization I am completely in my element when the company is expanding because the chaos and pressure of growth produce unique diamonds.
I am a bachelor and I love spending time with my family and friends, kicking back with a braai, or watching sports as these are the things that bring me the most joy! I am excited and grateful to bring my wealth of knowledge to add value to my new-found origination.
