Most routers and some modems have an antenna connector that you can connect directly too most of our antennas. You will use a pigtail connector or a short adapter cable to connect your antenna with the router. When contacting our sales office please ensure that you have your router and modem name and type available. If you use an USB modem or something similar that does not have an antenna coupling, you can use a special adapter (ADPT-24). The adapter consists of a flat plastic pad with a 50 cm cable that terminates in a SMA (female) connector. The plastic sleeve, that looks similar to a cell phone battery, encloses a device that is able to couple to a cell phone and divert it to a booster antenna thereby ensuring better reception.
